On a frigid but sunny day in late November 2023, supporters of the proposed advanced manufacturing center in north St. Louis gathered in an open field after making several speeches under a large tent.

The Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center St. Louis is proud to be a part of the next coming wave of innovation districts and centers, appearing out of a need for collaboration hubs and the sharing of knowledge and resources throughout communities across the nation. The impact that AMICSTL will have and similar innovation districts around the world are having is incredible to witness.
Fox Architects, for AMICSTL, Issues RFP/Q for Facility Construction. With this RFP/Q, Fox Architects is requesting consultant proposals for design services, including Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Structural Engineering, and more. Milestone Moment for the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center of St Louis. Work on a state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing innovation center, AMICSTL, has officially begun with its groundbreaking ceremony earlier today. AMICSTL’s mission is to attract visionary manufacturers and develop the skilled workforces required to drive innovation and promote growth.
'ADVANCED' VISION. A $55M north St. Louis project could cement this region as the home of advanced manufacturing. Leaders of the project to build a $55 million advanced manufacturing center in St. Louis say it will meet the needs of industry and potentially create hundreds of new businesses while providing "strong, diverse and equitable growth" for the region.
Saint Louis University, University of Missouri–St. Louis to Co-lead Research and Development for New St. Louis Regional Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center. St. Louis Regional Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center (AMICSTL), an organization created to establish a robust advanced manufacturing sector in the region, has tapped Saint Louis University and the University of Missouri–St. Louis to co-lead research and development for the venture.
Boeing puts $5M into new AMICSTL manufacturing facility. Boeing announced Friday it will be partnering with the St. Louis Regional Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center to open a brand new manufacturing facility in north St. Louis City.
