Panel seeks to ensure St. Louis region has workforce to grow aerospace industry
The St. Louis Regional Freightway’s Aerospace and Aviation Task Force is engaging the public to raise awareness about upcoming workforce needs tied to $5 billion in aerospace and airport investments across the region. Major projects from Boeing, Gulfstream, and regional airports could generate over 1,000 new jobs, prompting the task force to highlight available education and training programs. The group includes representatives from key companies, five local airports, and workforce development leaders, including AMICSTL’s Tracy Henke. Their goal is to ensure the region has a strong talent pipeline to meet growing industry demand.
